I’m Erica, the baker behind Sunflower Bakehouse. Bread found me during a chapter of life when I needed something steady, grounding, and real — and it quietly became the thing that brought me back to myself. There’s something meaningful about taking simple ingredients and giving them time, patience, and care until they become something warm and nourishing. After 25 years in public service, I stepped into this new path with equal parts courage and curiosity. What began as a hobby turned into a daily practice, and then into this tiny bakery built on intention, gratitude, and the belief that good food connects us. Every loaf I bake is hand-shaped, slow-fermented, and crafted in small batches. No rush, no shortcuts — just honest bread made the way it’s meant to be made.
