StandScout Inc. ("StandScout," "we," "us," or "our") operates the StandScout mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Platform to discover local roadside stands, farm stands, cottage food producers, and artisan makers (collectively, "Producers").
By using StandScout, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Platform.

"Non-Personal Information" is information that does not directly identify you. We collect:
- Usage Data: Search queries, browsing behavior, producers visited, time spent on Platform, features used
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information
- Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address; precise GPS location (only with your permission) to show nearby producers

- Interaction Recording: We may record user interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and page navigation to improve our Platform. Form input fields are masked to protect sensitive information
C. Information from Third Parties and Public Sources
We may receive or collect information from:
- Social Media: If you link your account to social media platforms, we may receive public profile information
- Producers: Business information shared by stand owners when creating or updating their listings
- Analytics Services: Aggregated usage statistics from third-party analytics providers
- Publicly Available Business Information: We collect business information from publicly available sources — including public websites, social media profiles, online directories, and government records — to create and maintain Producer listings on our Platform. This may include business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours of operation, product descriptions, and publicly posted images. This information is used solely to help Consumers discover local Producers and is not used for marketing or sold to third parties.
D. Unclaimed Business Listings
StandScout may create listings for Producers using publicly available business information before the Producer has created an account or claimed their listing. These "Unclaimed Listings" are clearly marked as such on the Platform.
If you are a Producer with an Unclaimed Listing, you may:
- Claim your listing: Create an account and verify your identity to take ownership of your listing, update information, and access Producer features
- Request corrections: Contact us to correct inaccurate information on your listing
- Request removal: Contact us at privacy@standscout.com to request complete removal of your listing. We will process removal requests within 30 days.
To protect against unauthorized changes, we may require verification of business ownership before processing claim, correction, or removal requests.
We do not collect or display personal information such as home addresses, personal email addresses, or personal phone numbers in Unclaimed Listings — only business contact information that has been made publicly available by the Producer.
E. Children's Privacy
StandScout is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13.
