Meet Emily – Founder & Baker at Lavender Tide Bakery Hi, I’m Emily – the creator, baker, and heart behind Lavender Tide Bakery, based in Suffolk, Virginia. What began as childhood memories of baking cookies, pies, and fudge with my mom and grandmother has grown into a small-batch bakery inspired by tradition, comfort, and the simple joy of a homemade treat. Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, I’ve always found peace and purpose in the kitchen. After moving to Hampton Roads for my husband’s work and becoming a mom of two, I knew it was time to share my passion for nostalgic, from-scratch baking with others. Lavender Tide Bakery is where coastal calm meets warm, old-fashioned flavor—each cookie baked with care, intention, and a touch of home.
