Welcome to Whisk and Word Baking Co.! I’m Michelle Van Hemelryck—a wife, a mother, and a passionate cake decorator. I currently work full-time in the baking industry, and in the moments between, I’m building this dream of mine with the hope of one day opening a brick-and-mortar bakery. Baking is more than a skill for me—it’s a gift from God, and my heart is to use it for His glory. As a Christian woman, I pray over every order, every customer, and every creation that leaves my kitchen. My goal is for each cake to not only taste incredible, but to carry the care, intention, and blessing that goes into it.
