Welcome to Holey Crumb! Hi, I’m Tanya, and I’m so glad you’re here. What started as a love for baking in my own kitchen has grown into a home bakery rooted in tradition, patience, and simple ingredients. Every order is made by hand, in small batches, right at home—just the way bread was meant to be made. I specialize in naturally fermented sourdough, using time-honored methods that allow the dough to rise slowly and develop deep flavor. Why sourdough? I couldn’t eat gluten for years due to reactions my body would have. However, after a promise from a friend this bread was different, I gave it a shot. And glad I did! This long fermentation process not only creates better texture and taste, but many people find sourdough easier to digest than conventional bread. It’s naturally leavened, lower in additives, and made with ingredients you can recognize and feel good. Thank you for supporting a small, home-based bakery. I can’t wait to bake for you.
