Hi there! I’m Crystal, the heart and hands behind Cactus Sourdough Co., a small-batch cottage bakery nestled in Midland, Texas. What started as a simple love for baking bread for my family quickly grew into a passion for the craft of sourdough — the slow, mindful process of creating something wholesome from just flour, water, and time. There’s something magical about watching dough come to life, about the way a good loaf can bring people together around a table. That magic is what inspired me to start Cactus Sourdough Co. Here, every loaf, cookie, and treat is made completely from scratch in my home kitchen using high-quality ingredients and natural sourdough fermentation.
