Shortly after giving birth to my second daughter, I launched my business. Baking was the only thing thatmade me feel "normal" during my battle with postpartum depression. I knew in my heart that, as a single mother, I had to take charge, figure out how to provide for my daughters while doing what I loved and most importantly, be present in my girls' day-to-day lives. As a small business shop owner, I want my business to promote the idea that's anything is possible, regardless of your circumstances. I want my customers to feel a sense of home, kind of like a mother's touch, every time they take a bite of Emmz Cookies.
