I'm just a lady with a kitchen who loves to be creative and make cakes & things! My cakery "AHTA Cakes" (Pronounced "atta cakes") story Where I got the name: It's the initials of our family: Amber(me), Hans(my husband), Torby(my oldest 7yrs) & Ayden(my youngest 4yrs) Both my boys are my rainbow babies (if you are unfamiliar with the term, feel free to message me) and while I've been making cakes sporadically for many years, their entrance to the world changed my game. We thought my oldest might be our only so we celebrated EVERYTHING and big.... at 6 months he had applesauce with a candle, but his 1st birthday was a banana rainbow cake inside and out! I even do half birthday celebrations. I may go over the top, but nothing is boring around here and my boys just love it! I love creating, and I do NOT know how to do simple lol just kidding, well sorta... you have to stress how much you want simple if that is what you are after otherwise my passion to create just takes over. I love a challenge and have yet to come across a design I haven't been able to work out yet, so let me know your design idea!
