For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” _ When I was a young girl I always heard about Jesus being The Cornerstone, but I never sought a deeper understanding of the true significance of this. Now, I am a wife, mother, and a small business owner. It took me until 2024 to finally ask the question, what does the cornerstone mean? My pastor explained it is the piece that holds together the structure of the building, a necessary block that without it, the structure will fail. Such a simple explanation! As Jesus says, he who has ears to hear let them hear! God has moved in my life in such supernatural ways that as I grow to know Him deeper, I continue to be revealed clarity on things I grew up my whole life hearing, but not receiving. In this clarity, I grew stronger in faith and before I knew it, I had surrendered the things of my life and my life itself to Him. Jesus has become The Cornerstone of my life, I rest on Him and He is the “Chosen and precious” stone that holds me together and in him we too have become a chosen and precious living stone. Without Him I cannot stand. - I see this bakery as more than just a business, it is a ministry. A door the Lord has made open for me to share his message of hope and salvation. I answered His call to create this business and I ask for prayers that I may continue walking in obedience so that He may use this business for His glory!
