Hey there! 👋 I’m Britt - baker, maker, wife, mother, and founder of Moonroot Market. I love creating fresh breads, muffins, handcrafted wellness items, and simple goods that make life feel slower, sweeter, and a bit more intentional! Everything I offer is small-batch and made with care - the same way I feed and nurture my own family 🫶 I started Moonroot Market because I was craving something real - real ingredients (we can pronounce), real connection, and real community. In a world that moves fast and often feels disconnected, I wanted to create a space that reminds us of the beauty in handmade things, in simple food, in knowing exactly what we’re consuming! 🤗 It all started shortly after my mom passed from metastatic breast cancer and the side effects of big pharma. As the veil began to lift, and I began to learn a different perspective, I began baking more, making more meals from scratch, and making other natural products for my own home - it was my way of healing and a way to connect to all the women before me 💞 Reading labels is imperative for our household, especially since we have a kiddo who is allergic to peanuts, treenuts, all legumes, and soy 🥜 Companies are constantly changing their ingredients to add more protein or to make the product more profitable, for someone like my son that could mean life or death! Over the last 4 years, I have shared my wisdom and knowledge with those who want to learn - sharing my baked goods + veggies from my home garden, and by sharing my enthusiasm for holistic healing. Before I knew it… a market was born 🍞🥒 My mission is to nourish - not just the body, but the heart & the soul. 💛 To offer food and goods made slowly, thoughtfully, and without shortcuts. To reconnect people with wholesome flavor, mindful living, and products you can trust.
