Jennie Mae’s Sourdough + Simple Joys

Jennie Mae’s is rooted in family, tradition, and the simple act of taking care of people. Jennie Mae was my gram, my children’s GG, and the heart behind everything you see here. She believed in good, simple food, shared often, and done well. That, along with our Italian roots and the way food has always brought our family together, continues to guide this space. Jennie Mae’s began as a micro bakery inspired by my daughter Gracie’s early love of baking and my own journey through digestive health challenges. After struggling for years, I began researching ways to enjoy the foods I loved, which led me to sourdough. Its natural fermentation process, slower pace, rooted in old-world practices, completely changed how I was able to enjoy baked goods once again. As this space has evolved, so has our focus. Jennie Mae’s now centers on limited, intentional bakes, highlighting our customers’ favorite items. Beyond baking, Jennie Mae’s has grown into a place to share what I personally use and trust, our sourdough starter, baking tools, and just the everyday things that make my family and I smile. Mom and Daughter Baked Goods

I own a wood fire catering business, and now i am venturing into desserts. The greatest and most precious memories that i have growing up was baking with my grandmother. We baked all the time. I learned so much from here whether it was homemade cookies, pie crusts or merguine filling for pies. My oldest daughter is just starting to bake and is loving it, so we are going to do this adventure together. I have three daughters oldest is doing this with me, middle daughter is the taste tester not too interested in baking and my youngest loves baking and making a mess, lol.
